
This department is located in Pusan city, Korea. The 90% of the total Korean shipyards are located within 50km from the city. The mission of this department is to achieve its full role as a core in leading not only industrial and technological development but also advanced research activities in naval architecture and ocean engineering fields.
The objectives of this department is to educate students so that they can design and produce the most reliable and cost-effective ocean going transportation system and offshore structures which can perform missions successfully even in severe environmental condition.
